A cross between the popular Red Delicious and McIntosh, Empire apples are a favorite for those that like a sweet-tart combination. First introduced in 1966, this crunchy, juicy variety is excellent for eating and salads and kids just love 'em! Empires are available at the Apple Depot from September until June.
